Our course aims to provide comprehensive training by combining technical skills with cross-functional competencies. Only by acquiring both types of skills can one build a truly effective project management professionalism, capable of successfully managing complex projects and leading the entire team to success.
Hard competence
The primary goal of the course is to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to plan, execute, and monitor projects successfully. This includes learning specific techniques, methodologies, and tools known as “hard skills.” These hard skills are essential for the effective management of projects and encompass planning, budget monitoring, resource management, and the use of project management software. Hard skills provide the necessary structure for a successful project.
Soft competence
On the other hand, soft skills are essential for managing the people involved in the project. Effective communication is critical for keeping stakeholders informed and motivated, while leadership is fundamental in guiding the team toward goals. Time management helps avoid work overload, and conflict resolution maintains a harmonious work environment. Without these soft skills, tension and communication issues can compromise the project’s success.
This course is suitable if you have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in technical or humanities faculties, or if you are a professional with at least 3 years of experience in project management. In any case, the course is for you if you have the desire to enhance or develop your knowledge in 360-degree project governance, gaining not only technical skills but also learning managerial and relational aspects
The collaboration between 5PM Advisory, TAP Tech, and xxx revolves around the concept of training, specifically focusing on training initiatives closely aligned with market needs. The course delves into all the specific topics of project management to train ‘true’ project managers.
A good project manager
A good project manager is the key to achieve project success. He provides clarity of objectives, efficient resource allocation, stakeholders management, effective problem-solving, and streamlined communication, all while mitigating risks and adapting to changing circumstances.
His role is pivotal in keeping projects on track, on time, and within budget, ultimately maximizing efficiency and achieving desired outcomes.
A true project manager
In the professional realm, many individuals adopt the title of “project manager” without the necessary training and skills. While they may use the label, it’s crucial to recognize that true project management demands a very high level and specialized skill set. Without proper education and expertise, these self-proclaimed project managers may inadvertently compromise project success, affecting stakeholders and missing valuable opportunities.
